LINCOLN DRIVE MODES

There's a drive mode to match your mood and road conditions. Lincoln Drive Modes, easily selected by turning a knob in the center console, alter the suspension settings, steering, shift points and even ride heights. The Aviator Grand Touring* has two additional modes: Pure EV for a quiet all-electric drive and Preserve EV to recharge and save battery power for a later time.

ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION WITH ROAD PREVIEW

Adaptive Suspension with available Road Preview works with a front camera to evaluate and monitor the road ahead. When an upcoming bump in the road is detected, the system will prepare the suspension to help lessen the impact on both the vehicle and your comfort.

The Lincoln Aviator offers exciting powertrain options that combine power and poise for a smooth and thrilling journey. The standard twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine sets the pace for all Aviator models by creating 400 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. * The Aviator Grand Touring** utilizes a battery-powered electric motor and pairs it with the standard twin-turbocharged engine to produce an exhilarating combined 494 horsepower and a best available combined 630 lb.-ft. of torque*,** in the class.

AUTO AIR REFRESH

A breath of fresh air. Available Auto Air Refresh is an impressive air filtration and active air monitoring system. Using the standard Cabin Particulate and Odor Filter, Auto Air Refresh monitors, estimates and displays airborne particulate matter in the interior. Along your journey, the cabin air is refreshed and recirculated, as needed, to help expel stale air and minimize outside odors.

AVAILABLE INTELLIGENT ADAPTIVE CRUISE
CONTROL

Now, navigating traffic can feel a little less stressful. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control* marries camera and radar, enabling the Aviator to detect and adjust to the pace of cars ahead of you.* Stop-and-Go functionality allows the vehicle to come to a complete stop and restart* when traffic begins to move. Speed Sign Recognition helps keep your journey as seamless as possible. When activated, the front-facing camera can detect speed-limit signs. Once a sign is recognized, the system can adjust the speed of the vehicle to match your preset speed tolerance.

AVAILABLE EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST

Evasive Steering Assist comes into play when a slow or stopped vehicle is in your path. The system uses the camera and radar sensor technology of Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking to detect the vehicle ahead and apply Dynamic Brake Support.* If the distance to the vehicle ahead of you isn't too short and a collision can't be avoided by braking alone, Evasive Steering Assist can help you maneuver around the vehicle by providing additional steering support when the effort you're applying is not sufficient.*

REVERSE BRAKE ASSIST

With available Reverse Brake Assist, you can feel more confident when in Reverse. If sensors detect an object or a pedestrian to the rear when you're slowly backing up, the system can automatically apply the brakes to help you avoid a potential collision.*

AVAILABLE ACTIVE PARK ASSIST 2.0

It's as simple as pressing a button. In parallel and reverse perpendicular parking situations, the driver no longer needs to control acceleration, braking, turning or shifting.* Now all drivers have to do is place the Lincoln Aviator three-row midsize luxury SUV in Neutral and press the park assist button throughout the duration of parking, making tight situations a little less tricky. Once the vehicle is securely in the space, the driver simply shifts into Park to complete the process.

When your key fob or your personal smartphone, with available Phone As A Key,* is within a detectable range, the Lincoln Aviator responds to your approach. A dazzling array of welcome lighting in the front, rear and interior warmly greets you. Plus, models with the available Air Glide Suspension will lower themselves to help make getting in and loading cargo easier.

WELCOME MAT

As part of the approach feature sequence, the door handle pockets softly glow while a Lincoln logo welcome mat is projected from the sideview mirror, illuminating the ground below the door. These lights help to guide the way while helping you see any debris, unevenness or water, making for more sure-footed entrances.

It's a warm and welcoming experience that helps guide the way. Tied to the approach detection, the front signature lamps' and taillamps' fade sequence* gradually reaches full illumination.

AVAILABLE ADAPTIVE PIXEL LED HEADLAMPS

Placing light where it's needed. The Adaptive Pixel LED Headlamps apply a number of technologies to appropriately place light both on and off the road. At highway speeds, available speed-dependent lighting is designed to shine light farther into the distance; at slower speeds, the light array widens, helping drivers to detect pedestrians and potential hazards. Light-bending functionality uses camera technology to read road signs and lane markings to pre-illuminate the direction the road is heading.

WHISPER-QUIET INTERIOR

An acoustic-laminate windshield and frontdoor glass as well as expandable baffles further enhance interior quietness.
